Keeping my eyes on the prize

Hello again! I haven't posted in a few days. I have been so busy with my life. I have both a regular 9 to 5 job and a work from home job. I am doing these so that I could save the money to go my graduation cruise vacations. I haven't had any customers yet. Cunard , Princess Cruise Lines , and NCL each require the full payment up front.

Off day today

Sorry that I didn't post yesterday. I was actually quite busy yesterday with one of my side businesses and I didn't get the chance to post yesterday. Anyway I usually go on the NCL website to learn more and more about NCL .  I actually earned my master's degree from NCL . I just need to get my first  customers. I even have an actual degree. Yesterday, I took a vacation day from my day job and worked on my second job.

No cruise since 2007

My last cruise was actually back in 2007. There have been a couple of times that I started to make a down payment on a cruise but to no avail thanks to my brother.

Norwegian Dawn again

In my previous post, I stated that my mom received 2 free cruises. We ended up going on the Norwegian Dawn again. I loved the experience the second time around and it wasn't as overwhelming as the first time. We only stopped at 2 ports this time around because of the weather We went to the Bahamas again and then Bermuda. Bermuda was so beautiful and the ocean was so blue.  The weather in Bermuda was gorgeous. It was Bermuda Day when we went there so everything was closed.

My second cruise

After my first cruise, it took about five years to go on another cruise. My mom received a retirement package from her job and 2 free cruises was part of the package. The nice thing about that cruise was that it left from New York City so we did not need to fly. I have to admit that I was overwhelmed when I went on Norwegian Dawn for the first time. Norwegian Cruise Lines has something called Freestyle Cruising. With Freestyle Cruising you can do anything that you want whenever you want. There are no set times for dinner and you can eat dinner at a time that you like and wherever you like.  Two Catholic priests were on the ship so ended up going to mass while my mother went to her seminars. The first port we went to was Port Canaveral. The only place that my mom and I visited there was Walmart.  The second port was Miami.  We had an excellent lunch at a Mexican restaurant with some of the ladies from my mother's old job. A Bahamas private island and Nassau were our final st

First cruise blog

Hey everyone!         This is my first official blog for my cruise business. YIPPEE! It was suggested that I do a blog for the business, but I never really thought that I could really blog about it. After all it has been over 15 years since I blogged on a regular basis. I was a regular Xanga blogger for a few years in the early 2000s. During that time, I went on quite a few trips (more about those on upcoming blogs).  MY FIRST OFFICIAL CRUISE        It was all the way back in 2000 on the Carnival Fascination. My mom and I flew from my hometown of NYC to San Juan, Puerto Rico to meet the ship. I was astounded with how big the ship was. The line to get into the ship was even more astounding. I had never seen such a long line. My mom and I actually went on a cruise with a group of her coworkers so we all sat together whenever it was dinnertime. Carnival is a traditional cruiseline and sitting together at the same table is part of traditional cruising. One of the reasons I really lov
